The purpose this article is to approach about the production of musical theater in Brazil through a critical discussion on franchised Productions on Broadway (United States), West End (England) and Brazilian Musical Theater and how this thetrical movement impacted the capital of São Paulo in what many call of the first wave of musicals in São Paulo (1962-2001)
