Author Biography

Mauro Chantal, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil (UFMG)

Pianist and singer Mauro Chantal holds a PhD in Music from UNICAMP, where he carried out research on the opera The Supper of the Cardinals, by Arthur Iberê de Lemos (1901-1967), under the guidance of Adriana Giarola Kayma. Under the guidance of Lucas Bretas, she completed her Master's degree in Music at UFMG, with research entitled Carlos Alberto Pinto Fonseca: biographical data and catalog of works. She teaches at UFMG's School of Music on the undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
