DENSIFICAÇÃO E PAUSAS NO TRABALHO

Este estudo analisa a densificação do tempo de trabalho e a supressão das pausas como expressões da racionalidade neoliberal contemporânea. A partir de seis projetos empíricos realizados no Québec, com metodologias quantitativas e qualitativas, examina-se as relações entre carga de trabalho, pausas, refeições e saúde mental. Os resultados revelam que a intensificação estrutural do ritmo laboral compromete a possibilidade de pausas e refeições adequadas, sobretudo entre as mulheres, gerando impactos significativos como estresse, depressão e burnout. Do ponto de vista teórico, autores como Foucault, Han e Esquirol ajudam a compreender como o tempo é colonizado pela lógica da performance, esvaziando sua densidade existencial. Reivindicar o direito à pausa significa resistir à equivalência entre tempo e dinheiro, recuperando o tempo como experiência e respiração
