Abstract: Starting from the “disenchantment of the world” diagnosed by Max Weber and considering that the traditional “enchantment” offered by religious practices declined due to a generalized desacralization, sports present themselves as a possibility of secular re-enchantment, transforming the stadium into an – almost – sacred space.
Keywords: sports; re-enchantment.
