The review presented is in line with Educação em Revista's open peer review policy. It evaluates the article entitled Analysis of the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between social support and burnout in university students, with the aim of expanding reflections on the reading carried out, dialoguing with the text, based on two topics: considerations on methods and mediating role of resilience in Education. The reflections turned, firstly, to the way in which the methods were described, highlighting the need for greater explanations about the epistemological nature of the research, the investigation procedures and the quantitative analysis of the data. Afterwards, the evaluator highlighted a critical discussion about the concept of resilience, present in Education area, to raise questions that would lead to a more contextualized and qualitative analysis of the research results. The evaluative review concluded by reflecting that the article considered brings a study of relevance to the area of education and, after adjustments recommended by the two invited evaluators, could contribute significantly to Educação em Revista and its readers
