SCHOOL SPACE, FOCUSED READINGS AND SHIFTS IN AN OBJECT (DE)CONSTRUCTION
Keywords:
School spaces, space production, right to education and school spaceAbstract
School space is a substantial dimension of school forms and cultures that needs to be tackled in its complexity and in the (dis)mantling of pedagogical, social and cultural processes of educational institutions and policies in their social context. In a first part of this work, some theoretical-methodological perspectives and analytic categories are presented so as to expand and deepen their study. To this outlook, the contribution of social sciences, in particular of poststructuralist and critical geography is substantial in a process that, additionally, comprises interdisciplinary practices, interventions and reflections among educators, architects and industrial designers in the framework of research projects at the National University of XXXX. In a second part, these analytical categories come into play with school processes and some questions and reflections on the challenge that implies the expansion of the right to an education where space counts are raised.
