O rei, o delegado e a Lei: uma leitura da Lei Nova do Ensino Infantil

On this article I examine the Lei Nova do Ensino Infantil, written by a physician named Abilio Cesar Borges. This text consist of a changing program in primary teaching, where I detach aspects that allows to discuss the disciplinary, moral, structural and methodological questions in primary school. The reading of the Lei Nova do Ensino Infantil, that I did here, permits to perceive the debate and the development of the modernization project for the primary school in Imperial times, which problematize the interpretation of the school at those times, in a general and homogeneous way, it was a traditional and archaic school.
