It is considered that education for sustainability in higher education is a challenge that requires the incorporation of training based on values, attitudes and principles that reflect on professional training. That said, this research aimed to analyze the approach that students of undergraduate courses in Biology, in the Amazon Region of Pará, make about education for sustainability in their TCC. The exploratory study with document analysis considered the TCC produced by students from five different HEIs, prepared between the years 2017 and 2021, using an analysis instrument based on seven categories that investigate the approach of the principles of Education for Sustainability in three phases. By analyzing 145 works, it was found that the most discussed principles are related to the right to education and the right to biodiversity. The study presents theoretical-scientific, practical-instrumental and social contributions, highlighting training principles that HEIs should consider in the training of their students so that we have professionals concerned with socio-environmental problems.
