In this article we want to discuss the main theoretical and social pressupositions of the most recent pedagogical propositions and also their real consequences to the educational practices. In this sense, we will try to throw a light on the contradictory character of the contemporary social form, that constitutes the ground where all perspectives here critized are born, unconsciously or not. The present critical investigation also intends to propose, showing the limitations and weaker aspects of those mentioned pedagogical positions, the recuperation of the educational practice as an exercise of individual formation.
