The pre-school daily routine is very important and essential for the time and activities planning. The daily routine in the high/scope program provides an environment that is psychologically safe and meaningful that favors the shared control between adults and children. The Reegio Emília pre-schools develop an organization of the time so as to provide children with opportunities to meaningful and yet diverse interactions. The RCNEI also focus on the importance of a routine that favors the development of childrens autonomy and identity. This study aims to describe the daily routine of a crèche that caters for children from 3 months to 6 years distributed in mixed-aged groups. Observation was carried out during 8 months in order to register to time, schedule, interaction and activities developed every day. The main objective is to capture the kings of available activities, the interaction between adults and children from 2 to 5 years and 11 months. If taken that children spend up to 6 hours a day in the crèche, we came to the conclusion that half of this time is spend on sleeping procedure and the nap itself. The remaining hours is spent on activities that children developed by themselves with materials made available by the adults, hygiene and food/meals. Little choice and decision making process involve the children and little adult: child interaction was observed during the daily routine. Interventions is mainly based on care procedures rather than being more educationally-oriented.
