Relação entre superdotação e sobre-excitabilidades

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi examinar, por meio de revisão sistemática de literatura, a produção científica de artigos empíricos acerca da relação entre superdotação e sobre-excitabilidades. A busca foi realizada nas bases de dados SciELO, Google Acadêmico, PePSIC e Portal de Periódicos Capes, considerando as publicações no período de 2009 a 2019. Utilizaram-se como descritores os termos superdotação, superdotado, sobre-excitabilidade, Teoria da Desintegração Positiva, Dabrowski e desenvolvimento emocional, bem como seus correspondentes em língua inglesa. Foram selecionados 21 artigos, a partir dos critérios de inclusão preestabelecidos. Os resultados revelaram que superdotados apresentam desempenho superior nas medidas de sobre-excitabilidades, quando comparados a não superdotados; mulheres obtiveram escores superiores na sobre-excitabilidade emocional, enquanto homens alcançaram escores mais elevados na sobre-excitabilidade intelectual. Correlações entre sobre-excitabilidades e variáveis psicossociais, tais como ansiedade, perfeccionismo e autoconceito, foram também identificadas. Conhecer o perfil do superdotado em relação às sobre-excitabilidades é o primeiro passo na instrumentalização de psicólogos escolares, professores, gestores e familiares na adoção de estratégias e práticas que atendam às necessidades desses estudantes.
