Entre multiescalaridade e transescalaridade: Aproximações entre Teoria Crítica Urbana e Urban Assemblage

Resumo

No campo dos Estudos Urbanos, evidencia-se a necessidade de repensar o alcance dos métodos investigativos diante das múltiplas transformações da vida urbana contemporânea. O objetivo deste artigo é expor de forma dialógica a noção de escala a partir da Teoria Crítica Urbana e da Urban Assemblage, especialmente vinculada à Teoria Ator-Rede, evidenciando as possíveis implicações ao adotarmos um posicionamento teórico-metodológico multiescalar ou transescalar de pesquisa. Em seguida, apresentamos os principais pontos de divergência e possíveis aproximações e complementaridades entre ambas as posturas.
