Abstract

This essay aims at reporting a collective experience relating to pedagogical practices, cartographic research, and artistic creation produced during the course Art, Communities and Space (part of the curriculum of the Interdisciplinary Arts course of the Universidade Federal do Sul da Bahia/UFSB), in the second term of 2016, on the Sosígenes Costa campus (Porto Seguro). This cartography had as its main goal the study of urban art in a neighborhood popularly known as Baianão, in Porto Seguro, and received the participation of artists as co-researchers and partners in the process of creation of a map and exhibition open to public visitation.
