Este artigo aborda a influência da cultura islâmica na época medieval sobre os comentários bíblicos do rabino Abraham Ibn Ezra. De acordo com Ibn Ezra, a realidade na região muçulmana, que inclui as terras da Bíblia, preserva os antigos modos de vida. Este estudo concentra sua comparação entre os governantes árabes e os costumes dos reis antigos.
