This essay investigates the constitution of the poetic imaginary of Dolce Stil Novo based on its intrinsic relationship with a musical epistemology rooted in Pythagoreanism and Augustinian thought. The central hypothesis is that the conception of the cosmos as a symphony is not merely a theme, but a structuring principle that informs the philosophy, language, and very amorous experience sung by the stilnovisti. The analysis examines the works of Guido Guinizelli, Guido Cavalcanti, and Dante Alighieri to demonstrate how the beloved woman operates as an agent of spiritual tuning, whose presence resonates in the poet's spiriti, reconfiguring his perception. The physiology of love in Cavalcanti is examined as a vibratory event, Dante's Beatrice as an acoustic miracle, and the doctrine of cor gentil in Guinizelli as a politics of selective resonance. It is concluded that the Dolce Stil Novo poetic form, in its phonic materiality and rhythm, constitutes a technological vehicle for the transcription of the ineffable, whose legacy is the persistence, in Western culture, of the aspiration to translate metaphysical wonder into word and cadence.
