Abstract

This paper aims to deal with the matter of equivalence in idioms translation for bilingual lexicography. In order to reach an idiomatic equivalence, we consider that the meaning of a word is neither fixed nor stable and that it's necessary to make a detailed research with several dictionaries as well as with native informers.
