Abstract

This paper introduces the results of a research entitled "The effects of advertising films in the production of elementary students' texts". Drawing on Patrick Charaudeau's Semiolinguistics (1992), we analyzed 230 texts produced by 6th grade students in elementary school. Our findings suggest that the discursive organization of the films, narrative and / or descriptive, had a bearing on the students' textual production.
