Abstract

This study aims to report the experiences of nursing professionals in the process of reception with risk classification in an emergency care unit of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Results obtained with this new methodology are, among others, the organization of the reception service according to the severity and need of each case and the reduction of waiting time.
