IMPACTO DO DEBRIEFING NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DE COMPETÊNCIAS CLÍNICAS EM SEPSE ENTRE ESTUDANTES: ESTUDO CUASE-EXPERIMENTALEntrenamiento Simulado

Objetivo: evaluar el impacto del debriefing asociado al escenario de simulación clínica sobre el conocimiento y habilidades de los estudiantes de enfermería en el manejo de pacientes con sepsis. Método: estudio cuasiexperimental, antes y después, realizado con 20 estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad pública. Los datos se recolectaron mediante un cuestionario sociodemográfico, una prueba pre y post sobre sepsis validada y una lista de verificación de habilidades. Se realizó estadística descriptiva para las variables cualitativas y la media y desviación estándar para la edad. Para la comparación de las puntuaciones previas y posteriores a la intervención se utilizó la prueba de Wilcoxon, y el efecto se calculó mediante la estadística r de Rosenthal. El cambio en la calificación general en la lista de verificación de habilidades se evaluó mediante la prueba de McNemar, adecuada para variables categóricas pareadas, y la consistencia interna se midió mediante el alfa de Cronbach (significación del 5%). Resultados: el conocimiento de los estudiantes en el post-test fue significativamente (p<0,05) mayor que en el pre-test, así como en relación a las habilidades antes y después del debriefing. La puntuación media en el pre-test fue de 2,50 (± 1,23) y, post-test, de 5,95 (± 1,14) (p<0,001). La suma media de la lista de verificación antes del debriefing fue de 11,45 (± 3,85) y, después del debriefing, fue de 14,80 (± 1,79) (p=0,002). Conclusión: los resultados demuestran la efectividad de la intervención, que promovió una ampliación significativa de conocimientos y habilidades en el manejo de la sepsis.
