Abstract

The ocupation of traffic agents emerged in 1997, from the Brazilian Traffic Code that determined the municipalization strategy of traffic inspection, engineering and education through administrative decentralization of this services provision. Ever since, the work of these agents has standardized in different documents, such as the rules of the National Traffic Council and municipal legislation. However, these norms are not able to anticipate or perform work in the real life space, or what needs to be mobilized to carry out an activity especially in view of the working conditions that the public service offers. The objective of this thesis was to investigate how traffic agents in the municipality of Betim make use of themselves, create and mobilize knowledge, values and experiences to carry out their work activity, based on the ergological understanding of the activity...
