Resumo

The article discusses Shakespeare's King Lear fIlmic translationladaptation by Jean-Luc Godard as a transformationlnegation of genre. It also shows that the tilmmaker's non-conventional treatment oftheme and forro changes the play into a "mock-fIlm".
