Alain Robbe-Grillet’s work (1922-2008) can be considered transgressive in several ways: it frees itself from the shackles of literary genres, intercommunicates media, puts crime in the center of the new novel, uses stereotypes and fetishes, and reflects somewhat the irreverent and controversial character of the author himself. In this paper, after briefly retaking significant moments in the history of the writer, we study Glissements progressifs du plaisir (1974), book and movie, in which the author uses a particular syntax that reframes fantasies, articulates elements in images descending from different time layers, and exhibits the narrative, playful and erotic transgression.
