Camadas de ensinamento na poesia didática romana: “matéria ostensiva” e “tema real” em Geórgicas e Cinegéticos

Neste artigo, desejamos focalizar o modo de dois poemas didáticos da literatura latina, as Geórgicas de Virgílio (séc. I a.C.) e os Cynegetica de Nemesiano (séc. III d.C.), terem organizado as camadas de ensinamento incorporadas a seus versos. A partir das ideias de Bernd Effe (1977), o qual postulara que poemas didáticos de tipo “transparente” incorporam “matéria ostensiva” e “tema” (não ostensivo) distintamente, intentaremos demonstrar que as respectivas matérias de Geórgicas e Cynegetica (agronomia e caça) convivem nesses textos com temas diferentes, esses de fato situados mais no centro das preocupações pedagógicas de seus autores.
