Resumo: A partir dos documentos de trabalho de Guimarães Rosa, este artigo explora as implicações entre memória e a construção de paisagens literárias em sua obra, sublinhando o quanto a difusão de imagens do próprio autor, como as da expedição de 1952, afeta de modo inevitável nossa leitura contemporânea.

Abstract: Using Guimarães Rosa’s working papers as a starting point, this paper explores the implications between memory and the construction of literary landscapes in Rosa’s oeuvre, underlining how much the diffusion of images by the author himself, such as those from the 1952 expedition, inevitably affects our contemporary reading.
