Abstract

This article studies the references and the relations between the game of GO and the works of Jorge Luis Borges, Georges Perec, Alejandro Xul Solar and Ysunari Kawabata. Considered one of the most ancient and difficult games ever known, GO deals with mathematical combinations, esotericism and artistic beauty – very good reasons for the writers and artists studied in this paper to choose it.
