A Ensaística de Theodor W. Adorno

Por meio da análise de dois textos de Theodor Adomo temporalmente muito distantes um do outro – um escrito no início de sua carreira, outro em sua maturidade –, este artigo mostra que o ensaio não era para ele apenas um tema de reflexão, mas também, e acima de tudo, um tipo de matriz para seu pensamento. Dentro dessa matriz, recorrendo a uma tradição iniciada na Modernidade com Montaigne e solidificada com Leibniz e os empiristas ingleses, Adorno procura construir, na última fase de sua filosofia, sua concepção de um "Anti-sistema", em que a indispensável coerência do pensamento pode ser mantida a salvo da instrumentalização pelo sistema de dominação.
