Pós-Colonialismo, Império e Globalização: Dois Pratos da Balança

Que rumo deve agora tomar o pós-colonialismo? O presente trabalho busca responder a essa pergunta a partir da leitura crítica de Império, obra de Michael Hardt e Antonio Negri (2000). Se queremos evitar que o pós-colonialismo seja mais uma ‘idéia fora do lugar’, e havendo comum acordo de que o pós-colonialismo institucionalizado já não mais nos interessa, a pergunta que cabe em nossas discussões não seria se o Brasil é ou não pós-colonial, mas sim de que forma o conceito operatório de pós-colonialismo pode auxiliar no entendimento das negociações culturais dentro do Brasil, bem como entre o Brasil e o Canadá.Descargas
