Nesta entrevista, concedida em 2020 pela poeta Lubi Prates ao Grupo de Estudos em Literatura, Arte e Cultura (UFVJM/CNPq), a escritora fala sobre o momento presente da Pandemia da Covid-19 no Brasil, sobre a relação de seus versos com a questão do pertencimento e o permanente processo de reconhecimento, na ideia de tornar-se negra em diáspora, uma desconhecida ou uma eterna imigrante, e, sobretudo, sobre como planeja a liberdade através da poesia.
