L'étude qui suit a pour objet la comédie de sujet romain, la fabula togata ou comédie en toge, analysée sous un point de vue surtout historique, tout en mettant en lumiere, cependant, le caractere d'innovation et de rupture qu'eBe peut assumer par rapport à la comédie grecque.
