Amós Oz e Fima: política e literatura (s)e(m) ressentimento

Este artigo aborda a articulação entre política, literatura e ressentimento, valendo-se primordialmente do estudo das obras Fima, de Amós Oz, e Ressentimento, de Maria Rita Kehl. Ele parte de um sentimento de espanto diante da falta de congruência entre não só colocações de Erich Auerbach e Cynthia Ozick acerca do relacionamento dos povos grego e judeu com a literatura como também de posturas de filósofos de extração judaica sobre conceitos tais como o de alteridade, hospitalidade, amizade, perdão e ética e os conflitos que se desenrolam entre árabes e judeus no Oriente Médio. A literatura de Oz é vista, neste contexto, como um lócus de exposição dessa incongruência, advinda de um excesso de memória, responsável pelo que ele chama de “síndrome de Jerusalém”, e que Kehl reconhece como ressentimento.
