Da metáfora, da literalidade: deslocamentos na poesia de Emmanuel Hocquard

Este artigo analisa, na obra do poeta francês Emmanuel Hocquard, o uso da metáfora e da literalidade. Nos dois casos, o autor busca refletir sobre alguns clichês presentes na tradição poética sem deixar de tensioná-los, lançando mão das duas figuras poéticas de modo crítico. Na presente leitura, são explorados os poemas “Deux étages avec terrasse et vue sur le détroit” e “Élégie VI”, além de textos críticos do próprio autor que dialogam diretamente com seus poemas, tais como “Ma vie privée” e “La bibliothèque de Trieste”. O modo como Emmanuel Hocquard utiliza os recursos citados opera um afastamento da persona lírica em relação ao texto enunciado.
