Um antídoto contra a solidão, livro de entrevistas organizado por Stephen J. Burn – autor também de Infinite Jest: A Reader ́s Guide (2012) –, ajuda-nos não só a compreendermos mais e melhor a literatura produzida por David Foster Wallace, mas a pensarmos com este a respeito da cultura dos EUA, dos caminhos da literatura contemporânea e do sentido da vida. Tudo isso, em maior ou menor medida (a depender de quem o entrevista), com senso de humor ou grande desconforto.
