Helena Neves Abrahamsson é guineense, nascida em 1962, em Bissau, capital do país situado na costa ocidental do continente africano. Pela Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa graduou-se em Direito, exercendo essa profissão, notadamente se dedicando à área de Direitos Humanos, gênero, mulher e crianças, em diferentes países da África e Suécia. Fora di nos é seu livro inaugural, publicado em 2021. Abrahamsson integra antologia de poemas e dedica-se, há muitos anos, a trabalhos no campo das Artes. A partilha de aspectos de sua vida e obra ofertam significativa contribuição para os estudos que tomam como foco de análise integrantes do sistema literário da Guiné-Bissau. Esta entrevista foi concedida ao pesquisador de literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa Wellington Marçal de Carvalho, bem como às professoras Eni Alves Rodrigues e Lílian Paula Serra e Deus, que também se dedicam a reflexões sobre essa literatura.
