Abstract

Promoting student retention is essential to ensure that everyone has access to quality education and equal
opportunities. This is a challenge experienced by educational systems, being the subject of reflection and
criticism. A dialogue that will certainly bring even more contributions to Brazilian education.
Researching this subject is becoming more intriguing every day given the socio-historical context
experienced by the Federal Institutes of Technical and Technological Education.
Therefore, the objective of this review is to present the evaluation of the article
“The Influence of teaching pedagogical practices on student evasion in the technical course”
submitted to open evaluation by the journal Educação em Revista, linked to the Postgraduate Program
in Education of the Faculty of Education (FAE) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG)
presenting the analysis of the proposal mainly with regard to teaching pedagogical practices.

Giuliana Sá Ferreira Barros, IFNMG

 

Possui graduação em Pedagogia pela Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros - Unimontes (2000). É doutora em educação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG (2020). Tem mestrado em Educação pela Universidade de Brasília (2013). Atualmente é professora efetiva na área de didática e fundamentos da educação no Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia do Norte de Minas Gerais (2010). Faz parte do Conselho Científico da Associação Brasileira de Prevenção da Evasão na Educação Básica, Profissional e Superior - ABAPEVE. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Educação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: aprendizagem, educação e sociedade, educação profissional, formação de professores, didática, inclusão e educação de surdos.
