The Campo Bahia Time to Meet with Brazil

Abstract
This article tries to point out that the German national team’s headquarter during the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil, well known as Campo Bahia, can be considered as an important part of the modern approximation between people of the two countries. It is showed that this approximation is not only valuable for the German delegation itself, but in a certain way for the whole country of Germany, since people could get in touch with Brazil, its cultural and geographical elements as well as its inhabitants via numerous forms of media. The article shows off, that this approximation took part in different ways and that it is not only linked to happiness and passion, but also to fundamental socio-political or socio-economic problems which are not really known by most of the people in Germany until today. Examples for these problematic elements allude to corruption, exploitation or social discrimination.
