In this interview conducted by Hipólita Siqueira, Jamie Peck shares her insight into some of her main research themes, including political economic geography, regulation theory, neoliberalization, labor geography, variation of capitalism, platform capitalism, Karl Polanyi, marketization, austerity urbanism and uneven and combined development. A conversation that took place in May 2021, in Vancouver, Canada, during the interviewer's stay as a visiting professor at the University of British Columbia, marking the beginning of the activities of the “Geographies of Uneven Development” agreement between this university and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
