A Septuaginta (LXX): a Torá na diáspora judaico-­helenista

Resumo

A versão da LXX é uma obra de tradução, por isso mesmo, pode ser entendida como uma obra de interpretação. Enquanto projeto de tradução do Pentateuco, e posteriormente, de todos os textos hebraicos à disposição, é considerada como a Torá greco-helenística. Nesse sentido, a versão constituiu-se numa obra da exegese judaica antiga. Neste artigo iremos abordar esta questão em uma dupla face. De um lado, como uma exigência da comunidade judaica imersa no Helenismo, obra dos judeus de Alexandria, entregue à Biblioteca de Ptolomeu IV. Do outro, sua fortuna crítica.
