Abstract

Rachel Blwsteun was an icon of modern Hebrew literature. She was part of the “Second Aliyah”, the Jewish migratory wave that radically changed the socio-economic structure of Ottoman and British Palestine. Living in Moshavá Kineret, Rachel will be the first female writer in the Land of Israel. Unhappy in love, his verses mix encounters and mismatches, joys and sorrows.
