A influência da imagem estrangeira para o estudo da botânica no ensino fundamental

Abstract

Um dos problemas encontrados nas imagens trazidas pelos livros didáticos brasileiros é a presença marcante de paisagens e espécies estrangeiras, substituindo àquelas características do Brasil, ou seja, mais próximas da realidade dos alunos. É importante destacar que, em momento algum se propõe uma crítica à presença dessas imagens, pelo contrário, o  conhecimento não é limitado ao nosso bairro, cidade, Estado ou país, mas devemos utilizá-las em momentos adequados ao contexto trabalhado, considerando-se o próprio conteúdo. Assim, neste estudo foi realizada uma análise das imagens referentes às paisagens e espécies exóticas presentes em cinco livros didáticos de 6ª série do ensino fundamental, destacando prováveis interferências nas representações do ambiente natural expostas pelos alunos, através de desenhos, como atividade prévia ao estudo dos vegetais.
