Resumo

Este artigo é um texto de revisão teórica que destaca várias questões pedagógicas relacionadas à qualidade do ensino e da aprendizagem no ensino superior. Os objetivos deste artigo são, por um lado, a análise da relação das concepções de aprendizagem e abordagens ao estudo dos estudantes com os métodos de ensino e, por outro lado, evidenciar atitudes que professores e estudantes podem adotar para desenvolver uma aprendizagem significativa e um ensino com significado. Pretende-se contribuir para uma leitura crítica e construtiva no desenvolvimento de um ensino superior de qualidade. Para tal, enfatizamos a influência da avaliação no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, apresentamos alguns dos determinantes fundamentais para a promoção da qualidade no ensino superior e consideramos a inovação, a tecnologia e a globalização como fatores complementares para a melhoria das práticas educacionais no ensino superior atual.

Marco Paulo Maia Ferreira, Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências, ISEC Lisboa. Portugal.

Marco Ferreira tem um Doutoramento e um Mestrado em Psicologia, na especialidade de Psicologia Pedagógica, ambos pela Universidade de Coimbra, e uma Licenciatura em Educação Especial e Reabilitação pela Faculdade de Motricidade Humana - Universidade de Lisboa. Atualmente, é professor coordenador no ISEC Lisboa e professor convidado na Universidade de Lisboa / Faculdade de Motricidade Humana. É peer reviewer do European Journal of Psychology of Education e está envolvido em vários projetos de investigação internacionais.

Gustau Olcina-Sempere, Universidad Jaume I (UJI), Castellón de la Plana, España.

Gustau Olcina-Sempere é Doutor em Educação. Atualmente, é professor universitário no Departamento de Educação da Universidade Jaume I de Castellón. Sua pesquisa principal se concentra na análise dos processos realizados na escola para desenvolver uma cidadania crítica e uma participação democrática nos processos de ensino-aprendizagem, bem como no estudo, por meio de técnicas funcionais de ressonância magnética (RMF), das estruturas cerebrais envolvidas nos ensinamentos musicais.
