Twelve Centaurs is a comics essay. Using the medium itself, it combines drawing, comic book language, and graphic montage to debate the sequentiality constructed by graphic cutting that is so particular to this medium, taking as a starting point one of the first records that combine photography and movement: Sallie Gardner at a Gallop by Eadweard Muybridge. The result is an exercise that successively reorganises Muybridge's twelve frames, asking what space can be between two images, both graphic and sensitive.
