Abstract

O artigo trata de reflexões sobre colecionismo, a arte em trân-
sito e de um panorama acerca das pesquisas recentes sobre
coleções de arte em Portugal e Brasil, promovidos a partir de
um encontro científico realizado em junho de 2014 na Funda-
ção Calouste Gulbenkian entre pesquisadores portugueses e
brasileiros em Lisboa.

Author Biographies

  • Marize Malta
    Possui doutorado em História pela Universidade Federal Fluminense.
    Atualmente é professora adjunta da Escola de Belas Artes da Universida-
    de Federal do Rio de Janeiro, tendo publicado vários livros relacionados à
    História da Arte. Pesquisa principalmente os seguintes temas: decoração
    e artes decorativas no século XIX/XX, lugares de arte, coleções.
  • Maria João Neto
    É doutora em História da Arte na Universidade de Lisboa. É atualmente
    Professora Associada com Agregação do Departamento de História,
    área de História da Arte, da Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa. Publicou
    diversos livros na área, com destaque na área de Arte Contemporânea e
    História e Teoria do Restauro.
