Abstract

As pesquisas descritas neste artigo foram realizadas por meio do grupo “Bem Cultural” do Departamento
de Química da Universidade de Perugia. Fazem parte das atividades do Centro de Excelência SMAArt
(Metodologias Científicas aplicadas à Arqueologia e à Arte-site: www.smaart.it), uma instituição multi-
disciplinar da Universidade de Perugia, estabelecida em abril de 2001 pelo Ministério da Universidade
e da Pesquisa Científica e Tecnológica (MURST). O centro atua em parceria com o Instituto de Ciências
Moleculares (ISTM) do CNR e com a Unidade de Investigação de Perugia por meio do Consórcio Nacional
Interuniversidades para Ciência e Tecnologia de Materiais (INSTM), ambos sediados no Departamento
de Química.

  • Antonio Sgamellotti
    Lincei Academician and Professor of Inorganic Chemistry
    at the University of Perugia. Research interests on
    advanced computational chemistry and on spectroscopic
    investigations of artwork materials.
  • Brunetto Giovanni
    Professor of General Chemistry at the University of Perugia.
    Research interests on chemical reaction dynamics and
    spectroscopy applied to cultural heritage.
  • Constanza Miliani
    Researcher at the CNR-ISTM (Istituto di Scienze e Tecnologie
    Molecolari) in Perugia. Research interests on structural,
    electronic and vibrational properties of materials for
    cultural heritage.
