Abstract

These  essays  are  part  of  the  doctoral  research  Urban Ornament: an inventory of ornamental rail-ings (and other beauties) and discuss (as much as fantasize) about ornamental practice in several of his poetic and critical interfaces. From the work of  some  artists  thematize  the  ornament  and/or  architecture,  as  well  as  other  urban  narratives,  the text reflects about the presence of ornament in everyday landscape and history.
