Tropicaliança: Relações de força na colaboração de populares e eruditos na vanguarda tropicalista

Abstract

O presente trabalho procura ir além da harmoniosa aparência de uma parceria entre músicos populares e intelectuais eruditos na vanguarda tropicalista, transcorrida no Brasil entre os anos de 1967 e 1969, identificando nessa relação um mecanismo de trocas estabelecido segundo um complexo jogo de interesses estéticos e políticos.

    Doutor pelo programa de História Social da FFLCH-USP. Trabalha como crítico musical em diversos veículos da imprensa paulista desde 2000, colaborando, atualmente, com o Diário do Comércio - SP. É autor dos livros Os 100 Melhores CDs da MPB (2004) e Caymmi Sem Folclore (2009)
