This study seeks to go beyond the appearance of a harmonious partnership between popular musicians and scholar intellectuals in the Tropicalismo, a brazilian avant-garde movement elapsed between 1967 and 1969, identifying in this relationship a mechanism for exchanges established in a complex set of aesthetic and political interests.
