moving borders, rediscovering the earth

This article revisits the notion of landscape from different perspectives, motivated by moving conceptual boundaries that are sometimes very rigid and excluding. In this movement, a horizon brings us closer to other perceptions that signal that the landscape is a sensitive experience of space. In this desire for conceptual expansion, the study aims to touch on Amerindian cosmogonies based on the writings of indigenous authors Ailton Krenak and David Kopenawa. Finally, from two artistic projects interested in linking with the urban landscape, the video-projection Le petit pont, by Karina Dias and BR-3, a show by Teatro da Vertigem, we pursue to show how contemporary art rethinks the notion of landscape in an exercise to rediscover the earth: looking at the tree, looking at the river, looking at the sky.
