Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss the extent to which C. S. Peirce's evolutionary cosmology
advocates, in certain aspects, the paradigm of complexity, at the same time that it reveals a
creativity of complexity. It should be noted, above all, that complexity betrays the creative character of the Universe. Therefore, mechanisms are evidenced, which are responsible for the insertion of novelty and diversity in this same Universe. Therefore, as a result, it is hoped to apprehend complexity as a theory of creativity.
