Abstract

Publication of the journal Bibliotecas Universitárias: pesquisa, experiências e perspectivas (University Libraries: research, experiences and perspectives), edited by the SB/UFMG and originally born out of the need “to disseminate themes relevant to university libraries, covering theoretical and practical issues in the areas of management, organization and retrieval of documentary information, in its technological, human, social and related aspects”, as can be seen in its inaugural volume dated January to June 2011.
