¿Puede la Arqueología Histórica Afro-Americana ser una voz alternativa?

Partiendo de una visión de la arqueológica histórica como una forma alternativa de construcción de pasados de grupos subalternos, este artículo propone situar dentro de la misma una línea de estudios de arqueología histórica afro-americana. Es a partir de este tipo de estudios críticos que la disciplina contribuye a la construcción de una sociedad más plural y democrática.
