A ironia do fracasso: Nícias e Tucídides, Aníbal e Políbio

As noções de palavra nova, anelo por realismo e ironia existencial enformam este estudo de passos de Tucídides e Políbio que reconstroem historicamente as circunstâncias dos fracassos de Nícias e de Aníbal. Por meio de abordagem comparativa e histórico-filológica, o artigo investiga a possibilidade hermenêutica de aquela ironia enformar narrativas históricas.
